Bennett College Receives $25K in Partnership with Megan Thee Stallion and Fashion Nova Cares

GRAMMY® Award-winning recording artist Megan Thee Stallion and Fashion Nova Cares, the nonprofit arm of Fashion Nova, the leading e-commerce fashion lifestyle brand, provided a $25,000 donation to North Carolina-based Bennett College, in honor of Women’s History Month. According to a statement released by Bennett College officials, the funds were awarded to support Bennett’s Center for Entrepreneurial Studies to support and encourage future initiatives among students.

Fashion’s takeback programs are complex and growing in popularity

Circularity has become a buzzword in fashion over the last five years, with more brands introducing ways to extend the life of a product or turn it into something else after it’s been worn. Brands regularly publicize what is done with products after they’ve been collected. But less is known about the process of getting those used products out of customers’ hands and back to the brand — it isn’t easy.

Wendy Yu Announces the Winners of the Inaugural Yu Prize at Shanghai Fashion Week

Yu’s ambition was to promote all of the designers and identify the ones that could be successful on a global scale with the appropriate funding and support. Last night, she awarded Chenpeng’s Peng Chen the top prize: one million renminbi, or $150,000; the opportunity to sell his collections at Harrods; and a year-long mentoring program with Only the Brave’s Renzo Rosso.
