Family • Cait and her husband, Kevin. share their home with Winnie, a 6-year old beagle mix.

What she makes • Burling makes distinctive, lightweight polymer clay jewelry in small-batch collections. Each design is one-of-a-kind and hand crafted in her home studio. She releases small collections seasonally, notifying her wide group of followers through Instagram, Facebook, email and newsletter when new styles are available.

Where to buy • Clay by Cait jewelry is available locally at Urban Matter in St. Louis, Rushmore Boutique in Alton, Josephine’s Tea Room Monticello House in Godfrey, Seams for the Soul in Edwardsville, and is coming to Art Gecko in O’Fallon in September. Her earrings are also carried by 40 shops in the United States and Canada. She also sells on Etsy and directly through her website, Clay by Cait will have a booth at the Vine Street Market in O’Fallon, Illinois, Oct. 2 and Oct. 16.
