Custom jewelry shop opens in Grand Forks, with the name coming from the street

A new custom jewelry shop has opened in Grand Forks, and its name is an ode to its location.

Diamonds on Demers is located at 667 DeMers Avenue, Suite 1002, in the train depot building. Owner Scott Imberi has worked in the industry for nearly 30 years. The South Dakota native came to Grand Forks in 1987, and has worked lengthy stretches in local jewelry stores. Imberi opened the shop in mid-February, and told the Herald it had been in the works since October.

Virginia track and field opens the outdoor season in commanding fashion – The Cavalier Daily

The Virginia men’s and women’s track teams welcomed the men’s and women’s teams from Bucknell, as well as the women’s team from Delaware, to Lannigan Field for the U.Va. Opener Meet.

The Cavaliers started strong in the field events behind the performance of redshirt freshman Claudio Romero, who took top honors in the shot put (18.47 meters, 60’7.25”) as well as the discus (58.54 meters, 192’1”). He now ranks fifth on Virginia’s all-time performance list in the shot put and fourth on the all-time list for the discus.

‘Perfect spot for jewelry shop’ opens in Koloa

KOLOA — Brianne & Co. owner Brianne Light said she saw the space in 2018.

“When I first came in here, I kept thinking, ‘What a perfect spot for a jewelry store,’” Light said. “A year later, the space became available, and today, we’re opening ‘Brianne & Co.’”

Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow, opens Givenchy runway show at Paris Fashion Week

Meadow Walker has made her runway debut during Paris Fashion Week for Givenchy.

The 22-year-old daughter of the late Paul Walker — who starred in The Fast and the Furious franchise — opened the Fall/ Winter 2021 show for the French fashion house.

She wore an oversized black blazer and sheer black skirt over black tights with the ends of her short black hair dyed blonde.

“Thank you to everyone involved. Endless gratitude and love for you all,” she captioned a video of herself shared on Instagram.

Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow, opens for Givenchy at Paris Fashion Week

Givenchy released its first runway show with creative director Matthew M. Williams at the helm, and the recorded film for Paris Fashion Week was opened by 22-year-old Meadow Walker, the daughter of late actor Paul Walker. The actor, best known for starring in the “Fast and Furious” franchise, died in 2013.

Meadow Walker is signed to DNA Models in New York and kicked off the year with an ad campaign for Proenza Schouler’s Pre-Fall 2021 collection, followed by the label’s runway show at New York Fashion Week.
